Our first annual company offsite was held at the luxurious Queen’s Landing hotel in Niagara-on-the-Lake. It was a resounding success and it underscored both AppCentrica’s commitment to staff development and the greatness of each and every one of our team members.
The key was to plan an agenda that combined lots of interesting and useful content with memorable activates and a chance for everyone to get better acquainted. Based on everyone’s feedback, we knocked it out of the park on all fronts.
While many of us shared rides from Toronto to Niagara, Ken thought he’d ride is Kawasaki Ninja. Good idea, until the rain poured down from the heavens and he arrived soaked and frozen!
We all had to get used to being wet as the signature event of the offsite was the jet boat ride down the Niagara River. As these photos will show, we were all in store for a soaking as the boat flew along the water and then plunged into the swirling rapids.
Day 2 was a bit more serene as we toured Niagara’s famous wine country on rented bikes, stopping in a numerous wineries for a taste test before wrapping up with a dinner at the famous Prince of Wales hotel.
